We’re a small Australian engineering company based in the Southern Highlands of NSW. Originally from industry, we’ve spent the last 30 years designing, developing and manufacturing bespoke solutions for competition at the highest levels of national motorsport.

When Covid put life on hold in early 2020, we found ourselves dreaming up things to make - as idle engineers do! With ‘a bit’ of design time and some materials shipped to the door, we made our first joystick front rest. A rest we designed just for us - just to shoot bench rest rimfire.

Testing. When the rubber meets the road.

Mid-2021 we finally made it back to the range and our front rest got its first real workout. Success! Right out of the gate, our joystick rest and sloping back-plate design concept worked pretty nicely.

While each club day, each prize shoot became our testing ground for refinement, we suddenly also started getting requests to make more rests!

An Australian-made rest is born.

Welcome to 2023 and its our official release of the RANGE-STAR Joystick Front Rest for rimfire bench rest! Designed and made by us, right here in Australia - and we supply direct from us to you.

Finally, a big shout-out to our club members and fellow rimfire bench rest competitors for your enthusiasm and support to date. We hope you enjoy using this Australian-made rest as much as we do!
